Weight Loss Due To Medifast Diet Program. History Of Breast Cancer. Safe To Take Soy Protein?

Hi - i started the Medifast Diet program July 29th - I've lost 11 pounds and am happy with the diet. However, my concern is about the soy protein piece. I am a breast cancer survivor - estrogen driven - finished radiation/chemo in June of 2005. Took aromasin until January 2012. Is it safe for me to take the soy protein now. Linda.

Hi

Thanks for asking.

I do not think soy proteins in any way affect someone who has taken the diet program in the past.

it also do not have any sort of interaction with the drugs you mentioned.

In my opinion you can take the soy proteins without any concerns.

Thanks.
