What Are Symptoms Of A Stroke?
75 year old woman,Known Hypertensive on Norvasc/Amlosan/Amlosac 5mg once a day,75mg Junior Asprin od. Last night fell off the sit after an episode of dizziness,was rushed to hospital after 2 hours,BP 246/145mmhg.Slurred speech,confused.Malaria is absent.RBS 4.0mmols,unstable gait could she be getting a stroke?

Yes symptoms suggest that it could be a stroke attack, now if she has no problem in leg and hand movement then we can say that it was a minor attack and will recover soon.
Do take care of her and check her blood pressure on a regular way preferably daily morning. If you see its fluctuating a lot then consult a physician and change the medicine. Remember as a cause of stroke blood pressure on a higher side chances are more for getting stroke.
