What Are The Causes Of Having Rash In Back Of Upper Arm During Bathing?

I have recently noticed my child having a rash on the back of his upper arms during bath time. The rash is red and a little blotchy. His arms are barely touching the water. Could a warm bath actually cause a rash like that or could this possibly be a symptom of food that he ate?

Thank you,

Danielle

Hi,
Thanks and welcome to HCM .
The rash I do not think is due to hot water bath.
it may be due to allergy either to food or any other substance
Viral infection .
It is not possible to tell without seeing the patient.
If it fades away spontaneously within 2-3days it is OK.
Otherwise consult pediatrician .
Hope this reply serves your purpose .
Further queries invited .
