What Are The Findings From The Blood Work Of My Infant Suffering From Fever?
My 9 months old has had a 101-104.2 fever for 4 days now. Her blood work today showed hight lymphocytes (86), and low neutrophils (0.8). No other symptoms. Should I seek immediate medical care given these results and the ongoing fever? I am being told its most likely viral.
how is the child in between the fever? how frequently is the fever rising ? does the fever subside after giving medicines for fever? is the child eating his normal food? does he have any other problem other than fever/? ensure plenty of fluids . check the child"s temparature every 6th hourly and note it down and then give medicine for fever.if the fever does not come down or if there is any changes from routine like not feeding well or continous vomiting better get back to your doctor
