What Are The Risks Of Multiple Surgeries On The Same Shoulder?

Ive already had one shoulder surgery to repair a SLAP tear in my R shoulder. Just recently found out that i have another tear on the same shoulder and that it might require an additional surgery. what are some of the risk with multiple surgeries on the same shoulder?

Hi,
It is a known fact that ROTATOR CUFF behaves in a more friendly manner when u treat it in conservative manner.SLAP TEAR is one of the indications for surgery but however this second problem , if associated with rotator cuff, i advice u to take another opinion before going in for any further surgery since repeated surgeries may cause fibrosis and hence tightness in the shoulder ( due to fibrosis and adhesions )
