Hi,

Betacap TR (propranolol) is a non-selective beta blocker commonly used for the lowering of high blood pressure and other conditions is known to cause decreased heart rate, low blood pressure, fatigue, cold and clammy skin, difficulty in breathing, depression, sedation, and sleep problems (nightmares). If you do not have any side effects like low blood pressure the dose of Betacap TR may be reduced by your treating doctor otherwise continue taking it as prescribed.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
