my daughter is 17 and had a big test today so she was very nervous. my wife got what she thought was nerve pills but i found out it was my blood pressure pills they are small pills that i have cut in half. she said she took 2 halfs at around 8 and one other half at 8:50 what should i do, also she said she feels fine. ?
Dangerously low blood pressure and heart rate can occur. Accidental ingestion of BP lowering pills in children can cause dangerously low BP, heart rate changes, lethargy, seizures, coma and even death. She must be taken to the emergency room of your nearby hospital immediately if she shows the symptoms of dangerously low BP as mentioned above. Please see that these medicines are not be kept in refrigerators. Rather they should be kept properly in places unreachable by children to prevent accidental ingestion.
