What Are The Side Effects Of Modus Tablets?
My father is a patient of Thyroid & COPD. He has problem in his lungs from the last 3 years. Due to which he is on oxygen therapy at home. From the last few months he was feeling problems in breathing. Due to which we had hospitalised him at PGI. He was there in the ICU for 10 days & was on NIV along with oxygen. After that he is discharged from PGI. however doctors have advised him using BIPAP machine along with oxygen concentrator at home also. Also doctors has prescribed the use of Modus 20 mg tablets TDS along with other medicines as ATORVAS, PAMPRO,DOXIPhyline, Electroxin 150 mg. On enquiring from chemist it was told that Modus 10 mg is mainly used for females. So please suggests the followings :- 1. whether we can continue use of MOdus 20 mg tablets TDS ? 2. What are its uses in case of may father ? 3. Whether it will have any side effects on his body ?

Ans : Since your father is in critical condition and more over the side effect of this drug are NOT LIFE THREATENING so it can be given safely.
One thing more I want to tell you trust treating doctor and don't trust on CHEMIST , they only know about the salts but not about its uses.
