What Are The Side Effects Of Tromafe?

I am facing frequently urinate since last two years, last month after cystoscopy surgery was done for stricture in Urethra but still i am facing frequent urinate and doctor have advice for Tromafe XR 60 mg after dinner for two months. I have taken this medicine three days but i am feeling dryness in mouth and some obstraction in urinate. Please advice me the side effects of Tromafe and what is the further treatment. Thanks Shukla

Hi,

Tromafe XR 60 contains gliclazide which belongs to the group of medications known as sulfonylureas is used to treat DM and its associated complications by controlling blood sugar. Side effects of tromafe are hypoglycemia, nausea, vomiting, indigestion, weight gain, GIT upset, dizziness, confusion, weakness, sweating, abdominal pain, constipation, headache, back pain, muscle pain, joint pain, alteration of vision, bradycardia, allergic reactions, raised liver enzymes etc.
