What Are The Side Effects Of Tylenol Overdose?

What happens if you take too much tylenol. I have been taking tylenol or advil (not together) since Friday. The only way the body aches go away is if I take something. I only have 1 kidney and I know Advil isn t good for me, but it works better. I seem to be taking at least 6-7 tylenol a day. I have already been to the doctor and ER, and they say continue with Tylenol for the aches, but I am worried that it might hurt my insides. Thank you Renee Bell

Tylenol is a very safe drug if taken carefully. However, its overdose can be fatal by causing liver failure. If a person takes more than 20 tablets at the same time, it can be fatal. Taking one or two tablets over 6 hourly has a very safe profile and rarely cause any problem, even if it is taken for a longer time . It is the the only painkiller that a doctor do not worry, if
someone take it for a longer duration. So, until taken in very large doses Tylenol is a very safe drug .
