What Are The Side Effects Of Taking Regestrone And Ovaset Tablets For Uterine Fibroids?

I have uterine fibroids 9.9cmX9.5cm on the right and 8.2cmX7.9cm on the left. I ve been advised for the hysterectomy. currently my gyne has advised me to take regestrone 5mg and ovaset tabs daily. I would like to know what advantage these pills have and what are the side effects. Thank you!

These block the hormones that make the fibroids grow. Those hormones run the reproductive systems normal function and when blocked there will be changes in the menstrual cycle and likely sexual function.
