What Are The Side Effects Of Taking Zinnat 500mg?

I have been taking Zinnat 500 mg twice a day for the past week for respiratory infection. The fever has gone but my doctor has advised me to continue the treatment for a further 3 days. I am concerned about the side effects of taking this medication for a prolonged period of 10 days.

Hi,

Zinnat-500 is generally prescribed for 7 to 10 days. It is well tolerated however it may cause stomach upset, diarrhea, skin rash, and oral thrush.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
