What Are The Side Effects Of Wysolone?

hi doctor i am 50 yrs old with no health issues ..... i am having cough with wheez for past 1 month and my family doctor has given me levolin neb and seroflo neb....my x ray is normal and all blood test arenormal except for raised ESR...My doctor says its unlikely to be TB and says it could possibly be asthma/ bronchitis....My cough is reduced but still having wheez ...Doctor has advised wysolone 30 mg OD 5 TO 7 DAYS...along with seroflo neb.......I AM anxious to take wysolone....is 30 mg too much ? kindly help. thank you

Wysolone 30 mg contains prednisolone is a corticosteroid which belongs to a class of steroid medicines is used to treat severe allergic reactions, allergic conditions, asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, skin disorders, eye disorders, nephrotic syndrome etc. Prednisolone 40 mg per day for 7 days can be taken. It can be stopped taking after 7 days without tapering its doses. Side effects of Wysolone are nausea, vomiting, GIT upset, stomach pain, mood swings, behavioral changes, anxiety, weight gain, agitation, irritation, confusion, impaired wound healing, thinning and easily bruising of skin, growth of facial hair, hiccups, puffiness of face, excessive sweating, restlessness, sleep problems, ulcers in stomach and duodenum, allergic reactions etc.
