What Are The Withdrawal Symptoms Of Cerezette Mini Pill?
Hi ive been on cerezette mini pill for 5 wks, in which time i had no bleed even though period was due. I decided to come off it just over 2 wks ago as i didnt like how it made me feel. since then i have still had no bleed. did a preg test last weds, and it was neg (although didnt do first thing in the morn). Since this i have had an increase in quite bad pain in my lower abdomen, niggling headaches and frequent peeing, and it seems to be getting worse not better, is this just a sign of coming off the pill, i was due again yesterday but no period!!! should i wait it out or is it worth doing another test in a couple of wks? i thought because i was on it such a short period of time cycle would return to normal quickly or i would have at least had a withdrawal bleed. Help!!! lol Sha
I would suggest you to repeat your pregnancy test by 10 days of your missed period or 2 weeks after sexual intercourse so that there is less chance of any false negative results.
Irregular or delayed periods can also occur after stopping contraceptive pills. In case of negative pregnancy result, you can wait for 2 more weeks for your cycles to resume.Your cycles will regularize in the next few months.
In case of persistent absent periods, hormonal imbalance should be suspected.

In case of persistent absent periods, hormonal imbalance should be suspected. You may have to be started with hormonal pills like Norethisterone or medroxy progesterone to resume your periods.
