What Can Be The Reason For Vomiting And Diarrhea In Child?
11 year old has had diarrhea since last Wednesday 12/14/11, carrying a low grade fever since, the diarrhea stopped over that weekend, then started back up on Monday, Gave him imodium and he did not have but one bowel movement, then this monring he is vomitting and diarrhea at same time. No one else in house has been sick or got it yet. Not sure what is going on with him. .

Hi dear,I had gone through your question and understand your concern. He has gastroenteritis. It usually causes by bacteria: E.coli,Salmonella, Streptococcus, St.aureya, Shigella and etc.
I suggest
Oflox-OZ 1/2 tablet twice after meal for 3 days.
Enterogermina 1 sachet twice for 3 days.
ORS 1,5 litre every day.
