What Can Be The Reason Of Small Pus Filled Pimples In An Infant?

Hi, my 4 month old grandson has small red pimples on his belly, some filled with what looks like pus. He has excema also but recently broke out with this new rash. He does not appear sick in any other way. No runny nose, fever or fussiness. what could this be?

Possibility of Scabies or Impetigo is to be considered. If application of local antibiotic ointment does not lead to resolution , it would possibly be scabies. Exact diagnosis will depend on good clinical examination.
