What Can Cause Pain In The Jaw And Chest Along With Weakness In The Arms?

Hello: I have had these symptons off and on a few months ago. Went to hospital and they found no evidence of any heart, blood pressure or stroke issues. Happened again just now. It starts with jaw pain, then weakness in both arms, back pain between my shoulder blades and mild chest pain. I had weakness in the outside of my right hand. I walked around for two minutes or so and it stopped. Felt tired afterwards.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

In my opinion, you have a cervical disc disease with pressure on one of the nerves that are causing pain and weakness in your right hand.

The spasm due to pain is causing stiffness in and around the neck. Start painkillers, muscle relaxants and physiotherapy. If there is no improvement in 10 days then get MRI cervical spine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr Gopal Goel, Orthopaedic Surgeon
