What Can Cause Prolonged Loose Motions?
Hi, My stool is liquid for 4 days now, Im not dehydrated, not feeling weak, my appetite is still normal. No abdominal pain. But stomach is grumbling and makes starnge noises, its unusual for me to have diarrhea this long? what could it possibly be? Thanks

Dear many causes for loose stools
1.acute gastroenteritis
2.food poisoning
3.irritable bowel syndrome
4.malobsorption syndrome
5.dysentry etc
Dear drink plenty of liquid and ors fluid intake. check stool for culture and microscopy. recovery may be vary from 2-5days . if your feeling giddiness or Fever or dryness of mouth or decrese renal output. use tab. sporulac thrice a day for five days.tab oflox Ornidazole twice a day for five days.please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
