Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Cause Frequent Vomiting Specially In Morning?
My fiancé will vomit all too frequently but mostly morning time when he gets up . He does suffer from high blood pressure but it s extremely mild and it is controlled by medication, he is however overweight which is another one of my concerns :-/ . Could vomiting just be a sign of being anxious or nervous? Any ideas could that could spread any light onto the situation would be amazing ! Thank you !!!
I appreciate your concern for your fiance. Vomiting in morning might be related to indigestion, Acid peptic disease due to stomach hyper acidity, food poisoning or stress and anxiety. Here I would like to know whether he smokes or drinks? In my opinion he should take anti-acidity medicine like Pantoprazole or Ranitidine group of drugs with antacids and antiemetic like Domperidone for 4-5 days.
Ask him to avoid fatty fried spicy and junk food. Encourage him to avoid anxiety and stress by relaxation exercises, yoga and meditation. Complete abstinence from smoking and drinking is recommended.
Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to ask for follow up question and I will be happy to help you.
Best wishes, Dr. B R Hudda
