What Caused 4 Seizures In The Past 6 Weeks In An Elderly Person?

My dad 84 years of age has had 4 seizures in the past 6 weeks - he is on 2 tablets a day and there is damage to the left side of his brain, the last seizure was on saturday but he was better on saturday night to what he was last night sunday - he was very agressive, very confused thought he was going to his original home where he grew up in - can this happen

Well, considering his high age and sudden onset of seizures without prior history of it before, a possible cause of space occupying lesion like tumor is most commonly suspected. Look out for other associated complains of weight loss in recent times. loss of appetite, behavioral problems like those mentioned here can be explained by presence of space occupying lesion as well.
i would suggest you to get an MRI brain scan done, as it will help to rule out any organic cause of seizure. It will also help to rule out any ischemic pathology if any. If there is preexisting hypertensive condition may increase vascular pathology.
An associated behavioral or personality changes are commonly seen.

An MRI brain is very much advisable and a neurological consultation will be needed.
