What Causes A Bad Smell In The Nose After Septoplasty?

I had septoplasty almost 2 years ago and I ever since I have noticed a bad smell in my nose. My surgeon had said that was normal after surgery and should go away within a few weeks. It is still there. I did some research and have found that many other people have this same problem and have had no success in finding out what is wrong. Any ideas on what this might be?

Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The bed smell of nose is normal after surgery.
So,I agree with your doctor.
You can use saline nasal spray to clean the nasal passages.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
