What Causes A Bumpy Rash In Pubic Hair During Pregnancy?
Hi. I am 40 years old and 10.5 weeks pregnant. Pregnancy obtained through IVF and I have been on 15 mg prednisolone for 10 weeks as part of IVF. A couple of days ago I came up with a pimply rash in pubic hair and it the glands in the groin are painful when touched. Any suggestions of what it could be - I have not shaved or waxed pubic area recently so rash not due to that but it does look like some of the follicles are infected - also area seems a little inflamed.

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion sometimes the failure of absorption of sweating also leads to fungal infection and itching.Wear loose cotton inners.Avoid tight clothing.Apply mupirocin ointment if the pimples increase in size and pus appear.
