What Causes A Swollen Lump On The Left Rib?

I have a soft swollen lump on my left ribs towards the separation of the two. And it is numb and tingles off and on. I work for a chiropractor and he though maybe I had ribs out and adjusted me but it did nothing but got worse... help? Oh, and there is no redness or rash on the area.

Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You may have some soft tissue mass. First of all you should go for x ray chest. It will give you idea whether it is bony origin or soft tissue tumor. Then if needed you should go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy. It will give you exact diagnosis whether it is bone tumor, lipoma, neurofibroma, dermatofibroma or some other mass. Then you should take treatment accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer.
