What Causes Abdominal Discomfort, Diarrhea And Mucus In Stools?
Nausea and severe headace since monday afternoon. some light sensitivitiy, no fever or body aches, but I have been tired. taken zofran and tylenol every 6-8 hours for the last 3 days. have had little fluid or food. started eating today soup and jello but now having mild abdominal discomfort and diarrhea with very mucous stools.

It is due to the underlying intestine infection. Over and above self-management, this requires the support of GI-specific antibiotic as Rifaximin along with lactobacillus containing probiotics for better results.
