What Causes Anal Pain After Defecation?

Hi, I am 31 years old and I have been having anal pain for sometime now (maybe a month) after defecation. I have pretty regular bowels, no constipation, bleeding, or diarrhea. My profession requires me to be seated for hours and I use a foam chair, has this caused this pain? Please let me know how I can treat this at home and what precautions I shall take to avoid this pain or this condition to become severe. Thank you.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi. If the bowel habits , stool are normal , this pain in the anal region can be caused by the inflammation of the last of vertebrae, called coccyx.
I would advise such patients to first undergo an examination by a Gastro Surgeon to ascertain the exact cause of pain. May also need few investigations.
Sitting in a tub of non-medicated warm water helps a lot.
First of please get the cause of pain diagnoses , as it may be due to a disease which may need an urgent attention .
