What Causes Back Pain After An Injury?

HI, my names Kirby and I am 16. Yesterday I had a accident on the stairs. I am experiencing a lot of Pain ANd discomfort in my back. I didn't believe it to be serious as I can walk but finding it hard to bend down, sit or lay down without experiencing even more pain. Do you have any ideas what this could be and how I could treat it without the need in going to the doctors or hospital. Thanks.

Hi,
After injury, depending on the degree of destruction of specific tissues like tendons and bones, pain could persist in different degrees. In case of nerve destruction, pain might even be less or even absent. The chronic inflammation due to tissue damage produce substances that stimulate pain receptors leading to perception of pain. Kind regards
