What Causes Bruise On Lower Side/back Above Right Buttock?

Hi, just noticed yesterday I ve got what looks like a round bruise on my lower side/back above right buttock. It has a 1 hard lump underneath the skin which is slightly tender when felt but otherwise don t feel any pain. Is this just an internal bruise or something else. Can t see any centre spot or evidence of infection.

Hello,

Bruises, also called contusions, on the buttocks aren't that uncommon. This bruises usually happens due to minor injury happens. I suggest using cold compresses for local application. I also recommend using a vitamin K cream. I recommend to do a blood test, coagulation time and hemorrhage time for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
