Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a generally healthy 23 year old male. Over the last year I have been experiencing some odd neurological symptoms such as confusion, memory loss, fuzzy thoughts, distorted sense of reality, and sometimes even speech trouble. I also have a history of bad anxiety and depression. I have gone to the ER very concerned and have had head CT's and bloodwork, all came back negative.
I went through your details. You are sure that all your blood work and CTs came negative in relation to your current doubt. then why worrying? You need to leave these obsessive health related thoughts and go forward with your career and life further.
Confusion, memory loss, fuzzy thoughts, distorted sense of reality, and speech trouble (as you said) are symptoms usually associated with obsessive or negative thinking. You need to address your anxiety first and for that you need to consult a psychologist. Psychotherapy techniques should do good.
