Osmotic laxatives (such as Fleet Phospho-Soda,
Milk of Magnesia, or
Miralax)may help. . At the end, if there is no improvement you may need
enema. In cases of prolonged constipation, you should do
colonoscopy to rule out some other underlying cause.
