i am 18 female 115 5 ft 6in. ive always been healthy but gain weight very easy i keep a steady diet and work out 5 days a week. my problem is for a year i havent been able to poop on my own without a laxative, i keep hydrated and eat fiber i started ar 15g then increased to 60g and nothing changed. the longest ive waited to see if i would go is a month and didnt go just gained over 20lbs of waste. HELP!
Some advice that I can give to you are: -Drink more water. -Eat more fiber, especially soluble, non-fermentable fiber. -Exercise more. -Drink coffee, especially caffeinated coffee. -Take Senna, an herbal laxative. -Eat probiotic foods or take probiotic supplements. -Continue with the laxatives. If the situation continues to do: -A stool test. -An endoscopy to rule out the cause.
