What Causes Cough, Sore Throat, Fever And Rashes On Hand, Foot And Mouth?

My daughter started with a cough and a sore throat. She developed a low fever. This started on Friday, and on Monday, she developed a red rash on her hands, elbows, and feet. We took her to urgent care. They said she had hand, foot, and mouth disease. Today, on Tuesday, her fever is sitting at 101, and she has a new rash on her knees as well. The rash doesn t itch. It s just raised, like a blister. I am wondering if we should have it checked out by her regular doctor.
