What Causes Diarrhea And Vomiting In Toddler?

Today, my 8 month old son (out of no where) began "power puking". He's vomited about 3 times within one hour. He has also developed diarrhea. His vomit and diarrhea smell the EXACT same...sickening sweet.
About 3 days ago, me, him, and his Daddy had ate some hambuger that made all 3 of us sick. (Diarrhea, he vomited) I'm not sure that is connected with this, but do you have any idea what THIS could be?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM forum,
There is a very high possibility that the vomiting and diarrhea is secondary to the food that you ate from outside. but there is no need to worry. If i were your doctor, i would suggest you to give him medicines for vomiting and when his vomiting subsides make sure he takes plenty of liquids and make sure he doesn't go into dehydration. I'm sure he will get well soon.
Take care.
Happy to help.
