What Causes Diarrhea, Pain And Itching On The Upper Abdomen?
i took azithral 500mg fever one week back for 3 days once a day. after i took the second dose i started diarrhoea, pain and itching on the left upper abdomen. now i have a 3 rashes on left abdomen and looks red and very painfull.if you can help me to reduce the pain, atleast i can sleep very well.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood your concerns. Azithral can rarely cause a reaction in the form of loose stools, GI disturbances, skin rash. Since you have painful red rashes on the upper abdomen you need to consult a Doctor for clinical evaluation. examination and investigations; needs a proper prescription based oral steroids, antispasmodics and symptomatic treatment. Take Probiotics also. Remember for lifetime that you may be allergic to the Azithromycin group and to tell your Doctor every time you consult a Doctor for whatever reasons. Also make a list of the medicines that you have taken in past so that most suitable medicines too can be known.
