What Causes Dizziness And Diarrhea After Taking Herbal Medication?

Hi i took some herbal medicine a lady told me to take to speed up my metabolism. i only took it for 4 days but the 4th day i ended in the Er i felt super dizzy and i felt i was going to faint. Fast heart beat and very weak... They told me in the hospital that it was my anxiety , the thing is that i do have anxiety but that has never happend to me before. Now 5 days later i still have dizziness, diarreah and it really scares me.. what you think it might me
