What Causes Dizziness While On Prog,Bi-est And Dhea Compound Hormones?

I am taking a compound hormone prescription. Biest/Prog/Dhea sr 1.25/200/5. Recently the pharmacist has labeled the bottle as may cause drowsiness or dizziness. I have taken these hormones for a long time with no side effects but recently I feel they do make me drowsy and sleepy. They tell me the meds have not changed. My question is could this medicine be different since it is now labeled differently?

Hello,

Prog, Bi-est and Dhea compound hormones do not cause drowsiness as a side effect.

The fact that the medication is labeled differently does not change its side effects, so you should not be worried.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
