What Causes Excessive Gas And Burping?

Hi Doctor
I m 40 yrs old female with hypertension for the last 2 yrs.i am obese also and trying to lose weight.As for many months now, I have excessive burping and trapped gas which when i put pressure on my left side stomach, it releases by burping a huge amount of gas.can u pls advice the reason

Dear excessive gas and burping may be due to acute gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, irritable bowel syndrome or food allergy etc..

Avoid spicy food and alcohol, avoid smoking,do regular exercise. Tab. normaxine twice a day for five days.If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
