What Causes Excessive Gas With History Of Pseudogout?

Hello, my 94-year-old mother has developed excessive gas. There doesn t seem to be bloating or diarrhea involved, just a lot of wind! I m concerned. She is on daily Prednisone to control pseudo gout. Other than that I don t think her diet has changed.

Hello, after going through your query I am of the view that excessive gas may be due to the Prednisone she is taking.Isuggest that you give her PREDNISONE after meals along with tab rabeprazole(2omg).Thanks.
