What Causes Excessive Menstrual Bleeding After Taking Yaz?

I have 2 fibroids and take yaz for pain management and miserable periods. I take 6 cycles of pills then cycle off. I am starting cycle 4 of my pills and am having break through bleeding. Should I stop taking them and cycle off sooner or keep taking them and the bleeding will pass?

I think the excessive bleeding can be due to fibroids , so a course of tranaxemic acids may be required along with progesterone support.
