What Causes Extremely Red, Itchy Eyelids?

Over the past 6 months I have developed extremely red, itchy, eyelids on both sides. They develop scales and fall off and continue to repeat. They are especially itchy and scaly towards the inner eyelids.
During this time I have also noticed that my scalp has become very flaky and itchy. ( I have never had dandruff or dry scalp before)
I am 34 years old and otherwise great health

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having red itchy eyelids associated with flaky and itchy scalp.
This indicates blepharitis probably sebaceous sub type.
The treatment is by use of lid scrubs to clean the eye lid margin, antibiotic- steroid eye ointment for eye lid margin.
Along with this the treatment has to be taken for dandrufF of the scalp.

THANK YOU
