What Causes Fever After Vomiting?

this morning I went to the ER with vomiting/gagging unproductively. Sine this had gone on for about 4 hours I was concerned. My white count was up but a CAT scan did not reveal an infection in my abdomen and a moderate amount of stool. Diagnosis was constipation. They released me and now I have been running a fever of 99-100 all day and night. Should I be concerned?

* There is intestine infection with high WBC count , not necessarily CT will
show up every infection .
* Needs to continue proper antibiotics for GI coverage , PPI , anti emetics
analgesic tablets according to the advise of doctor with dietary measures
