General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Gas and diarrhea is suggestive of an intestinal infection.
Straining at passing stool can cause mucosal prolapse or can have piles that appear to be fleshy.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Consult your Doctor to have an examination of the anal area to know what exactly is the flesh about.
Send stool and blood samples.
If there is any evidence of an intestinal infection a course of an antibiotic and metronidazole can cure your problem.
Also take pre and probiotics, curds.
Avoid foods that increase your problems.

Take care.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. T Chandrakant,
