Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Epistaxis, or otherwise known as nose bleed is a very common problem in paediatric age group. According to your history , it seems like you have already gone through multiple examinations and there is nothing to worry about. Why is it happening?

Well, there can be multiple reasons but with your case what’s coming to my mind are:
1. Depending on the location that you are in:
- Is it too dry?
- Is it cold?
If it is dry, try a humidifier in your child’s room at night. This will help humidifying the nasal passage and will prevent bleeding
2. Does he pick a lot in his nose?
Nose picking is one of the leading causes of nose bleed in children, do try to give a little attention towards it too.

All been said, children grow out of this phase and it is nothing to worry.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Gaurav Nigam, Pediatrician
