What Causes Frequent Urination While Having Petit Mal Epilepsy?

I am a 53 year old man and have petit mal epilepsy. My concern has to do with urination. I do drink a lot of water/liquids during the day and urinate. But, why is it that I usually urinate 2 to 3 times every night. My doctor seems to believe this is normal. Once I get a chill, this makes me want to urinate. What gives?

Hello and welcome to HCM.
As an urologist, I can unDerstand your anxiety.
You could be having an enlarged prostate, with possible UTI.
You should get examined by an Urologist. do the following tests:
1. urine routine and culture.
2. blood routine, creatinine, RBS,LFT,PSA and platelets.
3. ultrasound-KUB,with residual urine. After setting reports, an expert opinion can be given.
