What Causes Groin Pain After Hip Replacement Surgery?

I have had 2 hip replacement surgeries done in 06 and 07. Both were DePuy hips. I have had revision surgery on the right hip because it showed fluid leakage. My metal levels before surgery in April were 10 times of normal and 6 weeks after surgery they dropped to 4 times of normal. The other hip looked fine on the MRI done in April. Recently, I have experience continual groin pain in the other hip. In your opinion, could the left hip be failing? I am at our vacation cabin for 2 months and away from my Dr. The pain is constant and makes it difficult to lift the leg getting in the car, getting into bed or climbing stairs for example. I also have a pain spot on the outside of the hip. Any information would be appreciated.
