What Causes Headache And Tiredness When Having Under Active Thyroid?
Hello Doctor, I have underactive thyroid, and have been taking medication for this Levothyroxine 50g, however when I exercise for 45 mins and then eat shortly afterwards, I develop tiredness and signs of headache coming on. In which case the rest of the day I am tired and worried about a headache.I do drink a lot of water before and after exercise on a daily basis. Why is this occurring? What should I be doing? many thanks

Oh, it can be the water. Lower sodium will cause this. It has to be either a lot of sweating or a lot of water (> a gallon in general) or simple brain freeze with the temperature of the water affecting the roof of the mouth. There are likely many other possibilities.
