What Causes Illness After Stopped Taking L-Tryptophan?

Hi there, I have been taking Tryptophan for 4 years, and recently my husband researched Hi there, I have been taking L-Tryptophan for 4 years for sleeping, I have not been sleeping for more than 4 hrs. a night, so I quite taking it, and wow I have slept for 3 nights in a row. And lost 1 lb. a day, which I like. But I don t feel well today or yesterday, I don t know if coincidence or allergies, but I wondered, could it be withdrawal?
