What Causes Incomplete Bowel Movements And Abdominal Pain?

I have a first degree relative that died of colon cancer at age 44. I have a personal history of tubular adenoma. My stools have been narrow and sticky texture for 2 months. I also have feeling of not emptying completely, abdominal pain, pelvic pain. Hemoccult was negative x1. I m 35. Should I be concerned?

Welcome to healthcaremagic. To answer your question, I would be concerned due to your personal history with tubal adenoma and family history. I would make an office visit for a colonoscopy. I hope this helps, it is better to rule out than wait. Good luck and let us know if we can answer any more questions.
