What Causes Increased Appetite, Nausea, Hot Flashes And Frequent Urination?

I have been peeing a lot around up to 4 to 5 times a hour it seems. I am getting hot flashes here and there. I thought I might of had a UTI so I was taking medicines and it went away now a week later I feel as if it may be coming back. I do not feel my normal self. I have been very emotional lately. Usually I am only emotional around the time of the month but, that has already happened this month so I have no idea what is going on...

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a urinary tract infection. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms. I also suggest using a cycle of antibiotics such as Ciprofloxacin twice a day for a week. I recommend to drink liquids and especially cranberry juice.

Hope my answer was helpful. If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
