What Causes Increased Urine Viscosity And Darker Color?

The viscosity of my urine has increased tremendously, I have a urostomy and wear an external pouch. This evening I was emptying my pouch into the toilet and the urine was thick, almost like the consistency of half done jello, color was a little darker than normal also.
