Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Increasing Pain/stiffness/soreness In Knees?
I have increasing pain on the insides of both knees - stiffening and soreness - with increasing effort to unbend if bent and bend if straight. Noticed last night my neck muscles had stiffened and ran up the back of my head with that stiffness with difficulty in turning my head - more than just a crick in the neck
As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
